Sharing Documents & Notes In-Call

Open a document or a live note next to the video tiles so every participant sees it — each in their own language.

Sharing Documents & Notes In-Call

During a meeting you can put a document or a rich-text note on everyone's screen, next to the video tiles. Any participant can share. The Document Sharing feature page shows this in action.

Sharing a Document

Documents linked from Google Docs or OneDrive in the meeting chat (see File Sharing) can be opened for the whole conference:

  1. During a live meeting, click the linked document in chat
  2. It opens in a shared panel for every participant, labeled with who shared it
  3. Each participant scrolls and zooms independently
  4. The sharer closes the panel for everyone with the close button

Sharing a Note

Rich-text notes from chat can be shared the same way:

  1. Open the message menu on a note in the meeting chat
  2. Choose Share to conference
  3. The note opens next to the video tiles for all participants

While shared:

  • The sharer edits the note live — everyone sees the changes and the sharer's cursor in real time
  • Everyone else reads it in their own language and can toggle between Translated, Original, and Original + translation views

Sharing a Meeting Recap

A meeting recap message in chat can also be shared into the conference with the same Share to conference action — useful for reviewing the previous session's summary together. Each viewer reads it in their own language.

Whiteboard

A shared drawing board for sketches, diagrams and quick annotations. It is a paid-plan feature (Pro, Business, Enterprise) and is off by default: a team owner or admin switches it on under Integrations → Whiteboard. Until then nobody in the organization sees it.

  1. During a live meeting, open More in the cockpit and choose Whiteboard
  2. The board opens on everyone's stage, next to the video tiles — every participant can draw, add shapes and text
  3. Someone joining later sees the current drawing
  4. Close the board with the close button; the drawing is not stored after the meeting

The board is available in meetings hosted by an organization that switched it on; guests and members of other organizations in that meeting can draw too. The engine is Excalidraw (MIT), loaded only when a board is opened.
