Usage Limits

Translation time limits and how they work in InterMIND.

Usage Limits

Real-time translation usage is metered based on your subscription plan. This page explains how limits work and how to monitor your usage.

Translation Time Limits

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of translation time:

PlanMonthly Translation Time
🆓 Basic1 hour
⭐ Pro10 hours
🏢 Business100 hours
🏛️ EnterpriseUnlimited

Translation time is measured per participant — if you use translation for 30 minutes, 30 minutes are deducted from your allowance.

How the Limit Works

Rolling 30-Day Window

Translation usage is calculated using a rolling 30-day window, not a calendar month:

  • The system looks at your usage over the past 30 days
  • As older usage falls outside the 30-day window, your available time increases
  • This means your limit gradually refreshes rather than resetting on a specific date

What Happens When You Reach the Limit

When your translation time is running low:

  1. Warning — You see a warning notification that you're approaching the limit
  2. Language lock — When the limit is reached, you can no longer change your translation language
  3. Translation stops — Real-time translation is paused until usage falls below the limit

You can still:

  • Continue the meeting without translation
  • Use the chat (chat translation is separate)
  • Use all other meeting features normally

Checking Remaining Time

The system calculates and shows you:

  • How many minutes you've used in the past 30 days
  • How many minutes remain in your allowance
  • When the next usage will expire (fall outside the 30-day window)

Monitoring Your Usage

In the Billing Page

  1. Go to Billing from the sidebar
  2. See the Translation Usage section
  3. A progress bar shows your current usage vs. limit
  4. A chart shows daily usage over the past 30 days

During a Meeting

If your translation usage is getting close to the limit, you'll see a warning notification in the meeting.

Language Pairs

In addition to time limits, your plan also limits the number of language pairs you can use:

PlanLanguage Pairs
🆓 Basic1 pair
⭐ Pro5 pairs
🏢 Business15 pairs
🏛️ EnterpriseUnlimited

A language pair is a specific source→target combination (e.g., English→Spanish).
