Usage Limits

Translation time limits and how they work in InterMIND.

Usage Limits

Real-time translation usage is metered based on your subscription plan. This page explains how limits work and how to monitor your usage.

Translation Time Limits

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of translation time:

PlanMonthly Translation Time
πŸ†“ Basic2 hours
⭐ Pro25 hours
🏒 BusinessUnlimited
πŸ›οΈ EnterpriseUnlimited

Translation time is measured per meeting host β€” minutes spent translating in any meeting you created count against the host's plan, not the listener's.

How the Limit Works

Rolling 30-Day Window

Translation usage is calculated using a rolling 30-day window, not a calendar month:

  • The system looks at your usage over the past 30 days
  • As older usage falls outside the 30-day window, your available time increases
  • This means your limit gradually refreshes rather than resetting on a specific date

What Happens When You Reach the Limit

When your translation time is running low:

  1. Warning β€” You see a warning notification that you're approaching the limit
  2. Language lock β€” When the limit is reached, you can no longer change your translation language
  3. Translation stops β€” Real-time translation is paused until usage falls below the limit

You can still:

  • Continue the meeting without translation
  • Use the chat (chat translation has a separate limit)
  • Use all other meeting features normally

Checking Remaining Time

The system calculates and shows you:

  • How many minutes you've used in the past 30 days
  • How many minutes remain in your allowance
  • When the next usage will expire (fall outside the 30-day window)

Monitoring Your Usage

In the Billing Page

  1. Go to Billing from the sidebar
  2. Find the Voice Translation meter in the Usage card
  3. A progress bar shows your current usage vs. limit
  4. The exact minutes used and your monthly allowance are shown below the bar

During a Meeting

If your translation usage is getting close to the limit, you'll see a warning notification in the meeting.

Need More Translation Time?

If you consistently need more translation time:

  • Upgrade your plan β€” Higher plans offer more translation hours
  • Contact Enterprise sales β€” For unlimited translation and custom pricing
  • Wait for renewal β€” Your 30-day rolling window gradually frees up used time

Chat Translation Limits

Chat translation (automatic message translation in meetings) has a separate word-based limit, tracked per meeting host:

PlanChat Translation
πŸ†“ Basic10K words/month
⭐ Pro200K words/month
🏒 Business3M words/month
πŸ›οΈ EnterpriseUnlimited

Chat translation usage is also tracked using a rolling 30-day window. When the limit is reached, new messages are delivered but not translated. See Chat Translation for details.
