Desktop & Mobile Apps

Optional InterMIND apps for macOS, Windows, Android (Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, Samsung Galaxy Store), and iOS — background calls, native notifications, and automatic updates.

Desktop & Mobile Apps

InterMIND works fully in the browser — the apps are optional. Install one when you want the call to survive a minimized window, native message and call alerts, or a home-screen icon on your phone.

Get them from the Downloads page:

The desktop builds are signed, so they open without security warnings. The Samsung Galaxy Store version of the Android app is refreshed about once a quarter and gets no over-the-air updates in between — on a Samsung phone, Google Play has the newest one.

What's Different from the Browser

Inside a meeting, the apps and the browser are identical — same translation engine, same controls. The differences are around the meeting window:

Huawei Phones Without Google Services

The Android app is the same package on Google Play, Huawei AppGallery and Samsung Galaxy Store. On a Huawei phone without Google services, meetings, live translation, chat, sign-in with Google or Microsoft (it opens in the phone's browser) and over-the-air updates all work. What does not work is push notifications: alerts about incoming calls and new messages rely on Google services, so on those phones they arrive only while the app is open.

When to Use Which

  • Web — no install, always the latest version. The default.
  • Desktop — you keep InterMIND open all day: background calls aren't throttled, and alerts arrive even when the window is hidden.
  • Mobile — meetings on the go with push notifications; the foreground service keeps the call running when you switch apps.
  • Browser extension (Chrome, Edge) — opens InterMIND in the browser side panel, so you can see the call while presenting: the side panel stays out of the shared tab.
