Present to everyone: one stage for the room

Every participant's stage is their own: each person can click tiles to move them between the main area and the sidebar, and arrange the room the way they like. Present to everyone overrides that for one thing — what you have on your main stage.

  1. Put it on your stage. Share your screen, open a shared document, or open a recap — whatever should be in the middle of everyone's screen.
  2. Click Present to everyone. Your main-area share follows to every participant automatically, including the person who joins later.
  3. Change it, and it follows. While you present, what you put on the main stage is what the room sees; stop presenting, and everyone's stage is their own again.

A recap presented this way renders the full session on stage — the summary and the transcript tabs — and a timestamp clicked in the summary opens the transcript in place, for everyone.

Let viewers scroll and zoom your shared tab

When the share is a browser tab, the viewer does not have to ask. Anyone in the room scrolls and zooms the shared content with their own mouse wheel, and the tab on the presenter's machine follows — the way it would if the viewer had the mouse.

This runs on a browser capability the presenter's browser has to allow once. If the browser blocked it, the presenter sees a notice: allow "Scrolling & zooming of shared tabs" in the site permissions, then share again. Sharing a window or the entire screen does not offer it; only a tab share does.

What the presenter keeps

  • Which tab. Viewers scroll and zoom inside the tab you shared; they do not switch tabs, click links or type.
  • Presenter mode. How your camera sits with the content — Content only, Standout or Side by side — is the presenter's choice, and everyone sees the layout you picked.
  • The pointer. The laser pointer lands on the same spot on every display, whatever a viewer's zoom.
  • Who may share. Screen sharing is a per-participant permission the host controls.

What stays after the call

The presented share disappears when it stops; the recap does not. After every transcribed meeting the signed-in participants get the summary and the full transcript, each reading the summary in their own language.
