How to see who uses your translation minutes and storage — and get an email before you hit the limit (2026)

A plan with an allowance raises one question in the first month: who is using it. If you searched "usage limits" for a meeting tool, the short answer for InterMIND is that every allowance is metered per meeting host — the person who created the meeting pays for its translation, whoever turned it on — and the Billing page shows each meter over a rolling 30-day window. This guide is the rest: what each meter counts, what happens at the limit, which emails arrive before it, and how the window refills.

Four meters, one page

Open Billing in the sidebar. Under the plan status — tier, trial or paid, next billing date — four meters:

Each meter is a bar with the exact numbers and three colours: normal under 80 %, warning from 80 %, red at 100 %.

Only active translation time counts — pausing translation stops the meter — and a listener's choice never costs the listener: minutes spent translating in a meeting you created count against your plan, not theirs. That is the host-framing economics of the product: the host provides the room, every participant gets it in their language at no cost to them.

Who used it

Click View details on the Billing page for the Usage details view: voice translation listed by meeting, host and who triggered it, with the minutes used; text translation by meeting and words; document translation by file and uploader; storage by file and size. A team sees which meetings consumed the minutes — the weekly customer call, the daily standup, the one-off workshop — rather than one anonymous total. Storage is one pool for the team; the team storage page lists the files and recordings behind it.

The emails, before the limit

InterMIND emails you when you approach the storage limit — triggered by recording events, since recordings are what fills a pool fastest — and the first time you reach the translation-minute limit. The email says which allowance and where to look, so a host learns about the limit before the meeting where it matters.

What happens at the limit

Voice translation. First a warning that you are approaching the limit; at the limit your translation language locks, and live translation pauses until usage falls below the limit. The meeting itself continues — video, chat and every other feature keep working.
Text translation. On Basic, at 10K words new messages are still delivered, just not translated. On every paid plan it is unlimited.
Document translation. Pro 10, Business 30, Enterprise 100 distinct files per 30 days; Basic shows "Not on this plan".
Storage. At the limit new uploads are refused; existing files stay available. Before a server recording starts, InterMIND checks the host's team storage and refuses the recording with an explanation if the team is at capacity.

How the window refills

The 30-day window is rolling: a session from 31 days ago falls out of it, and the available time grows by that much. A team that runs out every month either upgrades — Business and Enterprise have unlimited voice translation — or waits for older usage to roll off. Who pays for translation in a meeting — the host or the listener? The host. Minutes of voice translation in any meeting you created count against your plan, whichever participant turned translation on. Listeners pay nothing.

How do I see which meetings used our translation minutes? Click View details on the Billing page: voice translation is listed by meeting, host and who triggered it, with the minutes used over the last 30 days.

Do I get warned before we hit the limit? Yes. A meter turns yellow from 80 %, a warning notification appears as you approach the limit, and an email arrives when you approach the storage limit and the first time you reach the translation-minute limit.

What happens to the meeting when translation minutes run out? Nothing to the meeting — video, chat and everything else continue. Live translation pauses until usage falls below the limit or the plan is upgraded.
