AI document summaries in chat, email-in channels, macOS Share Extension

This week we shipped AI document summaries in chat, email-in to chat channels, a macOS Share Extension, and a new Trust Center page. We also refined the chat sidebar and conference settings, and resolved several call-reliability, translation-timing, and recap issues.

New

AI document summaries in chat — When you attach a document in chat, text is extracted on your device and an AI summary appears on the file card. Tapping a file opens the summary first, with document preview one step behind. Meeting recaps now incorporate all chat content, not just transcripts. Available on web and mobile.

Email-in to chat channels — Each chat channel now has a unique <token>@in.intermind.com address. Emails sent there land in the channel's Inbox with attachments intact; signatures and quoted reply tails are stripped automatically.

macOS Share Extension — InterMIND now appears in the macOS system Share menu, so you can share files directly into the app from Finder or other applications.

Chat scroll hotkeys — Use ↑/↓ to move by row, PageUp/PageDown by screen, and Home/End to jump to the top or bottom of chat history.

Inbox pin banner for Telegram — Messages from unpinned Telegram groups now show a banner in Inbox with a direct pin action, so you can route them to the right channel without hunting through context menus.

Usage limit email alerts — You now receive email notifications when you approach storage limits (triggered by recording events) and translation-minute limits (first occurrence).

Trust Center page — A new /trust page consolidates verified data-residency facts and displays the CSA STAR Level One badge.

Improved

Chat sidebar — The collapsed sidebar now shows chat avatars with per-chat unread badges instead of an empty rail. Separators between rows were removed for cleaner spacing, and active-chat highlighting was refined.

Navigation — The Resources menu was reordered by intent: high-value actions first, then help, then content and proof, with diagnostics last. Trust Center was added to the header dropdown and footer.

Conference settings — The invite block moved from Settings to the Participants panel. Settings now collapses by content, and network statistics are available in the Devices section.

Empty states — /meetings, /chats, and Inbox now share a unified empty-state composition with consistent layout and messaging.

Desktop app entry — The desktop app opens directly to the login screen instead of the marketing site, so it feels like an application rather than a browser wrapper.

New account theme — New accounts start with System theme instead of defaulting to Dark.

Mobile sign-in — Removed a custom consent alert and switched to native Sign in with Apple for App Store compliance.

Fixed

Mid-call device recovery — Switching your camera or microphone mid-call no longer leaves the call without audio or video. The engine now reacquires devices from the live registry with retries.

Mic button reliability — The mic button no longer shows false desync indicators during designed mute states such as idle-away, host-mute, or unmute restriction.

AI Help responses — AI Help no longer stalls for several seconds or cuts off mid-sentence. The underlying model was silently consuming the output budget on reasoning tokens.

Live message delivery to open chats — Messages sent via Telegram, email-in, and mobile REST now arrive live in open chats instead of appearing only on refresh.

Closed-chat translation timing — Sidebar previews of closed chats now show translated text immediately after ingestion instead of remaining on the original language.

Chat-only meeting recap — Meeting recaps for chat-only sessions with no transcript are no longer dropped by the schema. All timestamp fields are now optional.

Multi-file document extraction — Uploading multiple documents at once now processes all files correctly. Grouped file cards were missing the extraction pipeline.

Chat attachment size enforcement — Uploads are capped at 25 MB with server-side signed verification. Quota now counts true file sizes instead of relying on client-reported values.

Voice language detection — Gaps in the ASR language cache were closed. Unsupported language codes no longer reach the translation engine.

Email verification rate limiting — After 10 failed verification attempts, email verification is rate-limited for 15 minutes.

Content and contact accuracy — PDF links in site content no longer 404 due to router interception. Stale FAQ entries were swept, two incorrect factual claims corrected, and the privacy contact address updated to privacy@intermind.com.

Telegram connection feedback — Connecting a Telegram bot when the binding is already in use now shows a clear message instead of silently failing.

Export accuracy — An empty auto-created Inbox no longer makes an empty account appear to have exportable content.

Security hardening — Fixes from our ongoing security review.
