InterMIND iOS app lands in the App Store, plus major updates to the demo experience
This week brings the InterMIND iOS app to the App Store and the browser extension to the Chrome Web Store. We also significantly upgraded the demo experience with a realtime conversational AI and video avatar, alongside fixes for mobile landscape layouts, meeting chat, and recap recipients.
New
- InterMIND iOS app — Version 1.0 is now live and available for download from the App Store.
- Chrome browser extension — The InterMIND side-panel extension is now published and available in the Chrome Web Store.
- Live AI demo companion — The demo experience now features a realtime speech-to-speech AI named Mia, complete with a live video avatar, replacing the previous recorded samples.
- Conversational barge-in — You can now interrupt the AI demo companion naturally while it is speaking, and it will pause and respond without cutting off your audio.
- Recap contact integration — You can now select recap recipients directly from your contact list when sending meeting summaries.
- Network statistics for all — The in-meeting network statistics panel is now available to all participants, not just moderators.
Improved
- Demo language memory — The AI demo companion now remembers the language of your last spoken phrase and continues the conversation in that language until you switch.
- Mobile landscape mode — Android and iOS apps now support landscape orientation for meetings, with an improved participant grid and side rail that maximizes stage height.
- Meeting device menu — Audio and video device selections have been moved into a cleaner submenu within the in-call interface.
- Fact-based demo answers — The AI demo companion can now answer pricing and competitor comparison questions using verified product facts rather than generating responses.
Fixed
- Chat paragraph translation — Translated chat messages no longer incorrectly merge separate paragraphs into a single block of text.
- Telegram channel pinning — Pinning a chat to a Telegram channel no longer displays archived channels or technical IDs in the selection menu.
- iOS earpiece audio — In-meeting audio on iOS now correctly routes to the earpiece instead of the loudspeaker.
- Meeting tile loading — Participant tiles no longer display incorrect placeholder initials while loading user names.
- Microsoft token refresh — Resolved an issue where Microsoft Calendar and OneDrive integrations would fail to refresh their connection tokens.
- Billing currency and checkout — Local currency is now displayed correctly next to yearly pricing, and a checkout error preventing buyer email prefill has been resolved.
- Account deletion data cleanup — Avatar and imported file data are now fully purged from backend storage when an account is deleted.
- Security hardening — Fixes from our ongoing security review.
