External chat invites, recap updates, and improved translation stability

This week brings external chat participants, email invites, and a redesigned meeting recap experience that posts summaries as chat notes. We also improved device handling, idle participant behavior, and translation stability across the platform.

New

  • External channel participants and email invites — You can now add external participants to chat channels and invite them via email. Invitees require a consent gate, while users you've met before are added without approval.
  • Roster indicators and in-app notifications — The chat roster now shows pending invites and distinguishes between users you've met and external users. You also receive an in-app notification when someone adds you directly.
  • Periodic running recap — Meetings now generate a periodic running recap instead of a real-time transcript. Summaries are automatically posted as chat notes after the meeting.
  • Recap quality signals — You can leave a 👍/👎 on meeting summaries to provide direct, measurable feedback on recap quality.
  • Single sign-on preview — Google and Microsoft login options are now available in preview.

Improved

  • Idle participant behavior — Idle participants are now auto-muted and marked as "away" instead of being kicked from the meeting.
  • Mobile chat rows — Chat list rows on mobile have been redesigned for clearer visual structure.
  • Device management — Audio and video device lists are now consistent across the app. Speaker selections made in the Speaker Test modal now sync directly into the main cockpit.
  • Support address — Our support email address is now support@intermind.com.

Fixed

  • Manual language switching — Changing your language manually now correctly updates your participant language and chat translations.
  • Translation stability and locales — Translations are now more robust to structured-output drift, and we recovered missing locale translations. We also fixed hardcoded English on localized surfaces and added missing Italian, Polish, Dutch, and Ukrainian locale rules.
  • Native-to-native translation — Stopped unnecessary native-to-native translation on the on-demand chat path.
  • Session takeovers and reconnect ghosts — Fixed an issue where joining a meeting on the same device caused a session takeover or a reconnect ghost.
  • Intrusive video tooltips — Removed intrusive title tooltips on video tiles; this information is now contained in the modal view.
  • Billing and storage counts — Fixed an issue where conferences treated post-v2 Pro subscribers as basic. Storage now correctly counts toward the team pool.
  • In-page anchors during translation — In-page links now have stable anchors so they survive translation.
  • Guest-knock delivery — Improved out-of-room guest-knock delivery reliability and sound on the web.
  • Demo invites — Demo invites now correctly join the same room, and self-lookup no longer throws a 403 error.
  • Join and accept-page errors — Improved distinct error messaging for join-fail toasts and the accept-invitation page.
  • Admin user panel — Fixed sorting and false data on the admin users panel.
  • Mobile org invite UI — Fixed visual issues with the mobile organization users invite interface.
  • Moderator admit rights — Unified moderator admit rights and ensured fresh meetings are watched immediately.
  • Security hardening — Fixes from our ongoing security review.
