Members on four continents,
each in their own language
The working language is the first filter
An international organization lives in three or four languages and pays for it at every meeting: an interpreter booked per language, a volunteer who relays, a member who stays silent because the call is in English. The citizen who wants to reach the institution meets the same wall. And what was said survives the call in one language only.
languages live for voice, chat, notes and recaps — each member picks their own
accounts a member or a citizen needs — they open the link and join
languages for the agenda, the bylaws and the reports opened in the call
From the agenda to the minutes
One link, three or four languages in the room, nothing to book.
Send the link
From Outlook or Google Calendar, or a standing link on the chapter page: the same room for every monthly call.
Members open it in their country
On a phone or a laptop, no account; each picks French, Spanish, Portuguese or their own.
Everyone speaks their own
The secretariat hears the chapter in English, the chapter hears the secretariat in Spanish; the chat reads the same way.
Open the documents
The agenda, the bylaws, the annual report: PDF, Word, PPT and Excel read in each language in the call.
The call becomes a channel
Minutes, chat and files of this chapter in one place, readable by the secretariat in each member's language; the next call picks up there.
One space for the assembly, the chat, the minutes and the documents
Voice, chat, notes and documents, each in the member's own language: 23 languages live, 30 for documents.
The assembly, heard in every member's language
Translated voice and captions follow the speaker; a member in Lisbon and a member in Lyon hear the same motion, each in their own language.
A chat that reads in every language
A question from a chapter arrives in Spanish and reads in English at the secretariat; the answer goes back the other way, formatting intact.
> Agenda_General-Assembly.pdf Le point 4 concerne-t-il aussi les sections régionales ?
Yes — item 4 applies to **all chapters**, regional sections included.
Acta — Asamblea General, octubre
Minutes the secretariat can act on
Decisions, motions and action items from the call, in each registered member's language, kept in the channel with the agenda.
Bylaws, reports and resolutions in 30 languages
PDF, Word, PPT and Excel translated when opened in the call or the chat; the sender always sees the original (Pro and above).
Versus booked interpreters, interpretation channels and caption apps
Most international organizations run a mix of these today. The comparison is about what the member gets, what has to be booked in advance, and what remains after the call.
| Capability | InterMIND | Booked interpreters | Zoom interpretation | Interprefy / KUDO | Caption apps |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Every language in the room at once, with nothing booked in advance Human interpretation scales one booked interpreter per language. |
| Two-way: every member speaks their own language |
| Chat and documents in each member's language |
| History readable later in every language: minutes, chat, files |
| Public, reproducible translation-quality benchmark |
Where the alternatives are stronger: A professional interpreter carries nuance, protocol and a speaker's register like no machine, and a plenary with a treaty on the table deserves one. Remote interpretation platforms such as Interprefy and KUDO bring booked interpreters into large multilingual events; Zoom's language interpretation does the same inside a Zoom meeting.
Where they fall short for an international organization: Each of them needs an interpreter per language booked before the call, so the monthly chapter call, the working group and the citizen who writes in go without. And none of them keeps the chat, the documents and the minutes readable in every language once the meeting ends.
Best-fit pattern: Use InterMIND for the regular life of the organization: chapter calls, working groups, members' questions and the history around them; keep a human interpreter for the plenary where a person in the booth matters.

Where international organizations use it
Monthly chapter and board calls
The secretariat in one language, the chapters in three others, and no interpreter to book for a one-hour call.
Working groups with a document on the table
The draft resolution opens in each member's language; the comments come back in theirs.
A citizen reaches the institution
A standing link on the website: a person opens it, knocks, is admitted and speaks in their own language, no account, no cost.
Training and onboarding of volunteers
A session held once in English, followed in Portuguese, French and Spanish, with the handbook translated in the call.
Questions from secretariats
Send the next chapter call as a link
Basic is free. Put the link in the next invite; a member needs nothing but a phone.
