What happens when you press send

The message is stored in the language you wrote it in
Your text is the record. Translations are derived from it, so the original is never overwritten or lost.

InterMIND works out who needs a different language
It checks the chat language of every participant in the room — including the ones who are offline right now — and collects the set of languages actually needed.

It translates into each of those languages on delivery
Not when someone taps a button. People who are online see the translation in real time; anyone offline gets theirs the moment they reconnect.

The original stays one toggle away
Turn on “Show Original with Translation” and every translated message shows both, side by side. Shared notes get their own Translated / Original / Diff switch.

Set it once, in Settings

Your chat translation language follows your account language, or you can pick a separate one. The same setting drives in-meeting voice translation, so there is only ever one language to keep straight.
